he's beginning to smile. it's that 'zoom in on the mouth to see the protagonist grin' cliche.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

Haha, it's left to right by the way. And yes it's as Coryn says.

Thanks for reading as always.

PS You've gotta love cliche simple smiles.

This is good work, I like the fact that even though you aren't some world class artist you are actually putting time and effort into not only improving but actually giving us a story as well. What's great about art is that sometimes a story can stand out above everything else, and in this case, I'm interested in continuing the story and watching the improvement.

Thanks Crow, and I got that idea from the manga artist ONE. Not sure the story will deliver though,  but I figured mileage is a way to go.

Too much dialogue. Not going to shade anymore and just leave it white out for now.

Damn man, when did you develop a style AND start a comic?!
Really nice work, makes me a little depressed I missed it.

Looking good Lego, I'm liking the dialogue though. The way you drew it is pretty fluid.

Thanks Rojas!  I'm actually mixing with digital work so that helps a lot. I still can't draw straight panels traditionally...

YEah, but in this day and age, all digital is pretty much the best way to go.

So it seems, so it seems haha. I still think traditional has its places somewhere sometimes though.

Read that in an article on Optimum Wound so yeah. Otherwise to cut down on production software seems to be the best way to go. I've estimated for shoddy pages like these I can make 2 a day. That's aeons away from 20 pages in a week.

Mangaka are monsters.
