Looking good Lego, although one thing I notice is that you need to control your brush size more. First layer thin lines, next layer you can go thicker if you want to. What program do you use?

I will interject Ryan's earlier posting and add my opinion to say that the way Lego does his lines adds to the sort of sloppy art style he has. I don't see it as a problem myself. Either way good work Lego~
I hate you ^_^

I actually know those techniques very well, i'm just in the mood for black and white single layer art for now. I'm mostly experimenting at the moment so i'm not doing those those quite yet. If you click randomly through my pages i'm sure you'll see some colored works i did in the past

Oh, okay. My apologies

These are pretty good. I can feel the characters in motion and it is very apparent that you're not trying to avoid drawing hands, and it strengthens your piece and makes them less static. I think what you can do is work on clothing wrinkles next. Maybe watch some tutorials or take photos of yourself and practice drawing the essentials.

I have a lot to learn and sometimes I feel like I'm slacking. I feel so empty when I don't draw, and full of fire if I do. I hope both feelings never go away.

*thanks Jack

@ Rojas thanks! glad you like them

@ Nexuun no need to apologise your in-depth comments are always welcome

@ Fleeting thanks a lot. I have a lot to learn on texturing things just by using lines and when i can i'll make a serious study on that.

behemoth

Quote
Emotional things under inert gas lit lamps
The silence of space beyond the window and the wars ready to be fought
Man of the wind: a demon to them, an angel to her

A story repeated across millenia
The gun is such a merciless seductress
This month is march. And its time to march

The young love is a night flower forgotten in the heat of the day
The glory greater than the wistfullness, at least, in his opinion
The glory is a fiction, according to her facts

Lost down so many roads of pride and character
"I'm a soldier. I'm a soldier."
The footsteps recede, in that aluminium hallway

Him, alone with his thoughts.

I enjoyed the poetic piece you had there. Did you make that? Your art is also stunning as usual!

Yeah it was me. It just sort of came to me. I wrote it to 'Lost' by Coldplay.

background sketch. It's a sort of curving bridge that's free to move and held up by those cables. Those are gas clouds and in the distance is the hub where all the bridges come from and lead to. my first of many practice sketches to come

Seems I've joined the dark side... seems layers are the way to go, even for sketchy art.
