No, still can't traditionally draw straight lines for panels despite buying a triangle.

It's really interesting but it's becoming a novel with pictures in the background, rather than a manga. You see, there are a few very simple things that make manga what it is. And in this case, what's keeping it from looking and feeling like a  manga is the narration. Narration should only occur around 20% of the time. I'm not saying you should take it out completely, it's actually what makes this interesting, just try and keep it as short as possible and let the story move along naturally. The third to last and final panel on page 12 have an overabundance of narrative, the problem with this is that the reader will spend too much time reading the narrative that he/she will become dislodged from the flow of the panels. Anyway, this is just my personal opinion, there are actually quite a lot of manga that have quite a lot of dialogue, though this doesn't seem like it'll fit. But please, keep this up, it's become something I look forward to reading daily :)

I see what you mean. I was afraid of it too actually. Cut down on words and stuff. thanks for the interest, though i can't say it's an enjoyeable read considering the subject matter haha.

in other news i found my old scripts for just a drink. i think i'll post in manga creations if i ever start working on that one.

do you have any idea how to draw straight panels? any hacks? otherwise i'll end up just drawing figures and making all panels digital haha...

Well most manga artists use the manuscript paper with the blue outline, I even got some, but honestly they're just training wheels. Expensive ones at that. In my experience there aren't much hacks, the only way is to train your eye to see the shapes more and more accurately, and that just comes down to mileage like most things with art. My advice is to not worry about it much now, just keep trying to get it as straight as you can and after time your hand-eye coordination will pick it up.

Learn by failing hard huh. Well I bought a blue pencil for that. I'll try to get it as straight as possible.
