Hah, we people in the arts tend not to make things overly difficult for ourselves. Once you learn simple ways of making things look good, why not just go with that? The public at large doesn't have to know all you did was click three things.

I like photoshop because it's very instinctive and easy to use.

Instinctive is a really good description of it, all the tools seem to be in the place i would of put them if I made it.

Hah, it's actually not. It just seems like it because the interface is different (on PCs anyway - on the Macs at work, it's the same as always).

I changed from photoshop 7.0 to cs3 because it is down lol
No major change...
I have tried Pixia and I think their option about color balance is way better!

-revives thread-

I use Photoshop CS2, I have CS3 downloaded before coughkeygencough but I don't like it. I also use SAI for linearts. The brush strokes are godly. MS paint is great for pixels.

photoshop CS  v8.0.1

and i used paint tools SAI for a while, which was totally great, but trial expired and now i cannot save drawings there xDD
not that you would see this but... free d/l

i have only photoshop: i hated gimp because i always ahd problems with it: it destroyed plenty of my pics files.
I wish i had manga studio but it doesn't work on vista.

Its not full blown...but manga studio debut4 is a pretty decent platform for layouts...and works well with vista...amazon has it pretty cheap.

Do you download brushes or patterns somewhere?
