a (failed) sketch from some model magazine.

(My friend keeps on giving them to me. Says that's the best way to learn. Draw models... Tis tedious... But I aint complaining much, though... >.> <.< )

Done by 'keeling' the process of making a simple model then painting over it. DO NOT BUY THIS DRINK!

I'm almost beginning an experminetal digital comic, so here's an experiment i made before i even start on it. I painted over a photograph so... yeah... don't be impressed (if you were)

I'm trying to make minimalistic backgrounds and characters, and am aiming at toons in particular. Mostly i'm studying Genndy Tartakovsky's works (Samurai Jack, Dexter's Lab, Symbionic Titans)
... Looks like a project looms. Hopefully all will go well.

(Oh, this is a  of my brother. He'll kill me if he knew i did this but i'll take the risk.)

Awesome Lego, I love it! Can't wait to see your webcomic!

Actually was thinking of doing something similar, but only when I get the time.

Thanks!

I'm not sure of 'webcomic'. It's purely just a test, and i'm not making any webpages or copyrighting or what-have-you until i'm done with the experiment stage.

You should try it out, though. Go go Kuri is still an option, i mean, Yuuki has her own little strip, you should try it out as soon as you can.

Yeah, I got my inspiration from Yuuki indeed. Just when I have the time, draw a comic. Seems about right, right? Lol.

Long live new ideas llD
Nice job, Lego! The shading around the jacket is a nice touch, I think.

Further experminents with non-outline art. I know Illustrator is the best for the job, but it's too time consuming for my tastes. This is the comic i'm hoping to make.
