I don't live in Australia, so I won't be able to go. However, do feel free to tell me more about this. I might have some friends I know online in Australia. They might be able to go. If you do go, let us all know how it was.

oh u live in US or smthin???This is the only anime/manga con. in Aus, maybe the only con. in aus.
but there rnt as much manga/anime fans in aus as in us and japan coz people here r so into sport that they think CARTOONS r 4 kids and they would tease those huu like manga and anime...(seriously_>.<)

Thanks for the website, I was about to ask for it. =)

You'll notice a change once you have a "manga/anime revolution" over there. It takes plenty of time for a culture to accept something so different. The biggest reason anime has become more accepted in the US is because of the exposure of more films geared towards adults being released here.

I hope you enjoy the convention. =)

i guess--i heard that u can buy manga at bookstores in the US.....is that true????u can't buy manga in aus unless u go on ebay. Theres prob alot of manga/anime fans in canada
......i've decided--im goin 2 uni. in either canada or the US! >.<

A lot of normal bookstores in my city sell manga in their own section. One of the biggest chains named Barnes and Nobles has a wide selection. Even the public library has a lot of manga.

yea, Barnes and Noble and Borders in Cali have a whole sectioning to themselves ^^ easily taking 1/4,-1/2 of the graphic novel section ^^
