i agree... the style is very different to what i've seen....  but still its really good....   it looks like the artworks u see in an art gallery......  but it represents the story so well

It's the first time I made such a short story. The idea came up immediately, reading the theme we had choosen (war). I wanted at first to end the story at the page four, when they are discovered. I wanted a full suspense, the reader wouldn't have know if the children died or survived. But I hate killing my characters so I gave them a new hope.
I didn't name them: both because I didn't have any inspiration to find names, and because I don't think they are necessary to understand the story. Those characters represent a general story, not a special case in particular.

wow, that was really dramatic and emotional.. there's just some minor grammar issues here and there but, other than that .. great job Cory!!  8)
