Good stuff man! I'm glad you're still keeping up with the art. Color me not-surprised you led off with some LWA stuff, lol

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

welcome back
an epic start to the year :D

love the first two, i suppose partly because they are finished and fully coloured and shaded. It really does make a difference from a sketch no matter how good the sketch is. But also great colouring and the poses are nice. Although the poses are quite similar maybe would be nice to have more of a variety. Having asymmetrical poses always helped me to come up with better poses because there's a lot more interesting stuff going on.

Cool warrior orc as well, would be great to see that one finished. The detail on the bits you've done already is awesome.

And finally nice studies, at a quick glance they're practically identical to the original, so great understanding of values there. Gotta work on that myself.

Keep it up and can't wait to see more!!!

Ah yes, I remember doing something like this way back in Math class (yes, it was math and not art).

The point was to convey how points of reference converge the further you are away from it. It was an interesting thought experiment if you think about it. A road is straight, but it gets narrower the further away it is. Very important if you've ever delved into architecture. They have this neat tool that does measuring at a distance, but you have to consider how distance affects the size of objects on a 2D plane. Same technique they use to measure mountains, for example.

the perspective rooms are great!
a few things look a bit longer than they ought to but that's pretty minor.
when you add more details they will look even better.
incidentally both rooms are missing the horizontal line where the back wall meets the floor.

and that's a great study, a good output for someone who couldn't sleep!! any idea how long it took?
it's as good as if not better than my personal best value study so I can't really give any critique XD
looks like you've got the values spot on for the most part.

@operative I did 1 and 2 point perspective in my Design Technology GCSE, also not art XDXD
it definitely helped when I finally came around to using it in my art.
