Sort of obvious by the lack of content recently, but I thought I'd officially post we're on hiatus until around Aug 20th, since both my writer and I are attending this cosplay event

Ahahaha I know the feeling of having so many pending things to read...I appreciate the comment
We'll be speedrunning it to first volume completion within the next few months so stay tuned for that.
Really it's just a practice story for both writer and artist to let loose, but we both got a bit caught up on fine details where we shouldn't have I think,which slowed us down.

Yiiiiikes so long since we last completed a chapter. Shame on us XD

anyways enjoy the long awaited release. Quality in the first half is super bad as it had been so long since I had worked on the project I couldn't remember anything nor get my gears going for this project at all. You can see the sudden bump in quality as everything balanced out again about half way (^_^;)

Chapter 7 - Escape the Labyrinth

Not much to say on this to be honest. I hadn't realized until posting how badly we'd gotten behind schedule due to lots of stuff happening, but I'm glad we're back in business. Should get the remaining chapters churned out fairly quickly as we're close to the end of the story and frankly we both just want it finished and gone XD

I think to some extent it got behind because it was a team project, I think we both didn't really have the right mindset to view the project as "ours", perhaps. Always hard to say as there's many variables at play in both our lives and the project itself.

Chapter 8 - The Memories from the Eye

Well time flies when you're doing other stuff, can't believe it's taken another half year or more to get the next chapter out, when it really only took a few hours in total to actually do the work. It would have been out a tad sooner if I didn't have some other big stuff going on in my life, but even ignoring that it would have been delayed far too much.

Partly the only reason this chapter even got finished was because I've had it as a daily task for the last month or so, and it's been hit and miss at first, but gradually becoming more regular in getting pages drawn. So I'm hoping the last two chapters will be out much sooner than the current rate of 9 months per chapter.

So there's definitely something to be said for doing a little bit of a task every day. It's obvious to see, but putting it into practice is another story. I've slowly been getting that mindset and I'm hoping it just keeps improving now that I'm putting the effort into scheduling and long term productivity and stamina. Hoping I can put some regular work into my own stories as well, although getting old baggage out of the way is just as useful.

EDIT: just noticed chapter 7 still had the page outline guide visible, yikes. I'll have to fix that for my personal version.
