Just don't want to consume a lot of stuff I just want to be a man of production??
I know how you feel, that's how I've been for a long time!

It would be great to see you make a comic. having a weekly release schedule helps to stabilise other parts of your life, at least that's how it is for me.

maybe start with a smaller goal of just posting one artwork a week, and then build it up into writing a story.

I think everybody has a need to feel like they are doing something worthwhile and being productive towards it - it's very natural to become unhappy with just consuming.

I wish you the best of luck in improving your productivity, finishing your studies, the job hunt, and in making your webtoons. And good on you for pushing through when things feel difficult.

As for your writing, it seems that you are saying you like quite a variety of things, but mostly you like slow, character-focused build-ups, even if a plot doesn't move a lot? That's completely valid - this basically describes the book series I am reading now! (Dune). The most difficult part of writing those stories, however, is making sure that there is a point!

Some advice for helping to organise your thoughts onto a page like this is to break up your points into separate lines, as I am doing here. This will help others to read your thoughts a bit more clearly.

Studying is always good, but eventually you will find that the best way to practice this kind of writing is to attempt it yourself, no matter what the results are. The first drafts are always going to be rough, but if you keep working at it you will be able to look back at your own work and decide if you've hit the target you were aiming for.

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

100% agree. There is only so much that sticks when you're watching YouTube, you might think you're learning a lot but by the time you come to draw/write you've forgotten it all. But your own experience you will remember a lot more strongly.

Look no further than my current manga for roughness lol
I stop at the first draft and just move on, you gain a lot of ground that way and I think it's good for gaining early level experience. You can very quickly determine if you are going in the right direction or not.

Having not really touched my work in more than a year I just need someone with a cattle prod to "encourage" me to write. I just hate converting from pseudo screen play to written format. The converting is painful the straight writing can be done afterwards.
