learning kanji, hangul, hanja
« on: October 13, 2019, 11:44:09 PM »
there's sentence, grammar, vocabulary, writing, like

so many.

how do u even keep learning?

it seems humongous to master or, even use at daily business?

i mean, a child definitely cant just write a to z,
and i am so old now i still cant memorize the periodic table

like, why?
why is it so hard to possess?
is it so that it's worthwhile to own?
easy come easy go?
hard to come hard to go?

help.

learning a language is a big thing, but it's not a weekend project kind of big, you have to be dedicated for several years or more to build up the necessary experience if you want to be fluent, especially to know Kanji.

I can write about 1000 kanji and read 500 more, I use mnemonics to remember them, you make a story that helps you to remember how words sound or how they look. Just learn one or two a day and in several years you know all the common ones.

Well that's the thing about learning, it's slow. It's so slow you don't even notice it's happening. You just realize at some point that you've learned it.

Keep persistent. Practice every day. Read every day. Do a little something whenever you get the chance. Just keep pounding away at it until you've broken through whatever barrier you felt you were up against. And don't try to do too much too quickly. Getting frustrated because you feel like you aren't progressing fast enough is a sure fire way to burn yourself out completely. Take it easy, take it slow. Get just one thing down, and then realize that if you can master one thing, you can eventually master everything.
