Transcyberversal (Sci-Fi)
« on: October 13, 2019, 02:40:45 AM »
Mankind, having branched out over the cosmos like a virus, escape inward, into Cyberspace, a simulation of a new world. A Garden of Eden.

It is there they discover it, A.I. generated through natural processes, Code without a Creator. a contradiction, Natural Artificial intelligence. How, and why.

I'm on the same page as Suuper here. I'm expecting some sort of Greek hero to give us an answer any second now, haha.

That being said, I can definitely imagine this getting narrated over a big spacey establishing shot. Where do you plan to take this thing from here?

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

So it took me forever to actually (and properly) explain the premise to my players, we've had a few sessions taking place here and they seem to enjoy it.

The story is of programmers discovering artificial intelligence existing in a simulation with no creator, no origin, simply existing as strands of loose code that is somehow becoming more.

The story is in 2 parts, the "A" plot being going into this simulation and trying to interact and influence their development as they very rapidly evolve. the "B" plot are mostly existentialism, having accidentally discovered "life" in a simulation, some of the other researchers start deal with problems of identity and meaning in a world were they, too, might just be simulations.

Awesome.
Sounds a bit matrixy.

I'd definitely like to read a long form manga about something like that. A buttload of characters and interactions that builds up to a grand finale. Something like 20th Century Boys or Monster
