Canaggable's Portfolio
« on: February 07, 2019, 06:26:33 PM »
Hello! I'm a digital artist/illustrator. This will be my main gallery/portfolio on this site!

I mostly do semi-realism with some hints of more anime/manga inspiration speckled about here and there.
(I'm not going to upload all of my pieces, just some of my better ones. More of my artwork can be found on my instagram or on my website in my signature. These are also listed from newest-oldest.)

Some fun experiments with coloring style and flowy and glowy hair!

I simply love painting flesh!

Just some simple clouds, but I really enjoyed drawing them!

An experiment with grayscale using one of my charas.

A play at actually drawing an environment, lelz.

Some angsty character concept art.

Some anatomy/coloring experiment sketches that came out a bit different than planned, but I liked them nonetheless.

Some character concept art from late 2017.

Some old character concept art from 2017.

This is probably my first really nice piece, back from 2017,,, somehow.  :-X

I think that's all for now! I'll probably play some "catch up" in a while, but don't want to be too much trouble. :)

I personally find this the better ones from the rest. Aside from the overuse of black due most of the primary light source hidden behind the mountain in the background (A secondary light source or better placement/emphasis helps), I find softer color palette much more suited for illustrations/paintings.

Otherwise, impressive.

nice stuff. good to see you experimenting with different styles/colourings/lightings etc. That way you gain a lot of experience and skill which you can use in later pieces more freely.
can't wait to see more!

Nice and dark. I like that your drawings have this artistic soul in them - they don't just show characters but mostly they're portraying emotions. And that's a rare sight.

Looking forward for more.

That's pretty high quality. Illustrator is right. NGL your greyscale practice with the bit of yellow, yeah, I probably interpreted that incorrectly. I feel like I should apologize for my pervy brain.
