Well this is awesome. I have someone I'd be interested seeing in your style for sure. I'm going to redraw her at a point like I did with Lessa (punk girl, black outfit high heels chain sword?) but yeah I'd love to see your take.

And indeed, you really are blazing through these dude. Productivity through the roof! Great stuff.

Alessa Sola "The Gentle Flame" She's a 20 Year old samurai with an enchanted fire blade duo that has affected her over time, now wherever she steps lights up with fire. It tends to only burn with warmth, but when she wields it in combat it can do some real damage.

While she's noteably powerful and skilled, she still has a long way to go to perfect her sword arts. She's looking for a mentor and seeks battle only to improve her craft.

She's solely focused on the path of a warrior, and as a result out of sword arts is sadly... Bland.


Strengths: Fire! Also a decent fighter

Weaknesses: Not much personality, and would lose against any truly skilled warrior.

Special attack: Cleansing Candle (Engulfs enemies head in candle flame that burns hair and dries out your eyeballs but doesn't kill)

Lithuanian Devi, a random character I haven't fleshed out but made a song for haha. She's a short demon girl...from Lithuania, long brown hair, straight across bangs, green eyes, classic devil horns. She becomes a Northern Ontario hick so basically she wears an old bush jacket, I can't find the right picture for my idea but something like this, but older and less fashionable.

@lego ok great! yeah I think this is really helping me improve so much. I'm finding it difficult to get the level grinding in with the long time spent doing these haha but I'm learning about other areas that I have never drawn before :P

since you said think magic tricks I went for a card trick since I was short on inspiration lol. he's half way through explaining it.

I only just realized I was focused so hard on drawing the guitar right I forgot to add a pattern on the suit, so I'll do that the next time I'm on my PC.
having a deadline really helps otherwise I would never have bothered trying to get this done tonight.

Love it! The suit color is exactly what I had in mind. Card tricks yea! that can be part of it It's cool seeing this from your perspective. The pattern can be a simple floral/symbols pattern on the cuffs or something like that. You gave him a slightly different shade of skin, works for me. I love the way it looks now. I'll play with it and see where it goes.

Are you posting your work on DeviantArt etc?

Sorry to hear you suffer all weekend. Hopefully you're in a better mood now and can get back drilling through those requests 

A few things I'll note about Daina Allens before I go. Hope you don't mind my drivel 

1. Daina's rank and party badge on her shoulders.
This is pretty self-explanatory  Shirt collar isn't the same thing as a shirt shoulder. The collar is actually the two flaps on the neck.

2. Spats have straps.
Ever wonder why some shoes have that convenient little gap between the heel and your toes? Well that's actually so you can wrap the straps around if you decide to use spats  (The more you know) This is so when you wear said-spats it doesn't go sliding across your entire leg when you run and get dirt, mud and all that other grimy stuff on the ground in your shoes. In this case, Daina doesn't have any

3. Hats
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it annoying how some anime characters don't have proper hats, or simply wear it like its plopped on top of their heads?  Proper hat wearing means the ring of the hat goes around the base of the skull. That means just above the ear and no higher than that. Once I've seen it, I can no longer go back...

The hat is actually too big for her head. Half the hat band is actually covering just hair. That problem also makes the hat visor very awkward to make since it's so high up.

These are just my gripes, but other than that, good work there suuper  Maybe I'll throw in another practice when you have the time. I'll wait for your list to clear up first

I also find it incredibly annoying and was lamenting my inability to draw it correctly the whole time so sorry :P Another problem, possibly not applicable this time, is because I tend toward larger heads I struggle to draw a hat without it seeming larger than expected as well.

It is not everyday you find such a generous offer here, so how could I resist the urge to throw in my lot? I already posted these characteristics in another thread long ago, so I apologize if this specific format is not to your liking. Either way, I hope it is sufficient for you to make something out of it.

Genre of the story: Psychological, Action, Low-Fantasy
Name: Jacob von Zollmark
Gender: male
Age: 23
Personality: cynical, level-headed, proud, resourceful
Looks:
- Body type: reasonably athletic, tall
- Skin colour: caucasian, pale
- Eyes: sharp grey eyes
- Hair: Short, apart from that you may feel free to be as creative as you want. If that is too vague, maybe going with black hair and a high forehead is a option, but it is really up to you.
- Clothing: A reasonably altered german WW1-Stormtrooper uniform should suffice, alternatively a trench coat with an officer hat.
- Acessories: I would like you to draw him with a gun resembling either a Mauser Modell 98 or an Awtomat Fjodorowa, with a crude, small dragonfly carved into the gunstock. And if it is not too much trouble, if there could be a small belt of cylindrical glass capsules filled with blood (kind of like shotgun rounds in form and size) on one side of his waist, I would be delighted.

The story is set in a Fantasy world embroiled in its own version of the Great War, with humans, centaurs, harpies and other races fighting in brutal trench warfare. This would mean that there are also a few characters which are not exactly human, but I was not sure how comfortable you are with drawing non-humanoid figures, so for now I went only with the human protagonist.

haha well as generous as it sounds, probably it benefits me the most :P
the format is fine, great character design. ill see what i can think of to make the dragonfly on the gun visible on a fullbody shot.
since i have only ever drawn elf girls and nekomini girls, and very infrequently at that, even I dont know how i deal with non-humanoid lol feel free to make a non-human request and I'll do my best or die trying :P
