Hi. I made a 90 second starter story for Gizmowl.
Some anime fans are not impressed, they think I'm nothing and that the story developer should be able to create a blockbuster story and animate an entire cartoon strip, complete a business plan, and promote it all on practically zero budget.
To those types my only response is sort of like just *censored* off. It's a starter sketch and only designed to be the basis of a story. I'm looking for a professional or apsiring animator who likes the story to handle the animation part.
I'm more of a storyteller than an animation specialist and besides a lot of this comes down to business strategy so I'm not really phased when people who have not spent 10 yrs in marketing talk *censored*.
If there are any sane people here that understand business strategy and the creative process, that you are competing against the likes of Disney/Pixar, Hello Kitty and a host of other heavily funded quality Japanese animations...
I invite you to enjoy the SKETCH video (just a rough outline of the creation story for the character of Gizmowl)

Gizmowl is designed to be a full fledged action flick about Generation 6 drones and World War 3 set in contemporary times that involves complex geo-political issues and technology such as AI, robotics, Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Israel, America.
The Gizmowl character is the basis for telling a story about drone technology via manga that makes for a story about real conflict and has original non-establishment political commentary on technology.
