So proud of you lego, you have come such a long way not only has your art improved but also your skills as a storyteller. So is this post juat to display your work or are you looking for a critique in either art or story?

Thanks a lot Action. Critique on art in terms of whether some panels are readeable or not. And if it's hard to guess what the story is about I'd like to know that too.

Otherwise believe you me, I know, I know, I know. Anatomy, Perspective, Detail, Shading, Forms, Consistency e.t.c haha.

First post on April 15th and there's already 5 chapters :O

How long did this take you? I'll be reading the next 4 chapters on my next break, enjoyed the first chapter! I really loved the building shot birds eye then the zombie surrounding them birds eye!

My one wish is for you to make these cleaner with toning and inking :(. Nevertheless great job!

Oh no no no I started on the 14th of December!

But my general rate is 1 hour per page. At 4 pages a day I can have a complete chapter in a week also including any breaks /general days of laziness. It was pretty hard to find a flow, and the time fluctuates a lot if I want to change something or focus on something else but I feel I'm ready to work on this full time and have it reach 30 chapters. Penance, my other work, that's suffered even more quality drops because I still haven't figured everything out has been going on longer.

All I know for sure is that storyboards save lives.

Gaaaah the toning and inking won't improve for some ages I'm afraid. Nevertheless, domo arigatou Mr. Roboto

Updated with chapter 6

Well that was a crazy three days. Lots of things suddenly came up to distract me but strangely it just pissed me off into getting another chapter done after a storyboard rush. Here are the storyboards.

I like to imagine them all moving really fast and with helium voices.

So at what rate is it taking you to go from storyboard to finished page?

Gaaah no dooon't! I wanted them to have badass voices.

Is the flow too fast though?

Rate seems to be 2 days for the storyboard (because of how hard it is to think up things from scratch) and 3 days for the complete chapter. (4 pages a day + a final push and I have 15 pages done)

I need to figure out more contrast making techniques though. Pages are way too white haha.

Dude your images are too small to read comfortably.i have no idea what's going on, let alone if the flow is good. I'll wait for the finished product for that. No sense putting the cart before the horse.

Nani!? No the finished product is already up there Chapter 6 hahaha. I just posted the storyboards for the updated chapter alongside them.

Lel my legoisms are becoming too much at this point. I've been making a ridiculous amount of typos too. What is happenign!? (That typo was on purpose.)

(nobody respects the scroll anymore)

Well, I could definitely follow it better than the last chapter. Probably helps that you didn't completely fill the scene with people. There was definitely some character overload last time. But I liked it. You could have maybe devoted a little more time to the old dude's one winged angel transformation. As is, it's like he just kinda pops into it, comical sound effect and all.

Oh, and as the meme goes: "stupid idiot dies from two gunshot wounds". Bullet cutting is cool, but still completely impractical.

Thankee Tea!

@Coryn I need to try thinking double page or something at this point. It does get quite bad, but I can't help but need to show I haven't forgotten anyone.

I did a mad weekend rush and it seems I can nail out a chapter in 3 days indeed... When I push myself. Which I shall not make a habit of. So damn sleep deprived right now, but so damn happy I did it.

Topic post updated with Chapter 7!

Sigh... Only 23 chapters to go.

?Was that a vagabond manga reference? When the bird thing called them that.
I know its a word but hearing it can't help but think of that other manga about swordsmen
