That's kind of strange. I've recently discovered that sometimes when I feel like garbage can be one of the best times for me to push myself to create. It can up my confidence. I get into a rut a lot where I just don't create because I never feel up to it. Maybe that's the thing. I'm never really in the mood or in the zone until I start creating. There's always that push for me. A hesitation. A need to procrastinate. Almost like a fear, even.

Oh wait I have general anxiety disorder. Blep. Duh.

Regardless, just because I find value and fulfillment in "just do it" doesn't mean others will. It's interesting to see just how varied the spectrum is for the creative process. Unfortunately it still seems that feeling like trash at some point is a constant for it.
