These look pretty good, TEA. ;D

I'm curious about that sword. It looks like someone bitten off a piece at the front. :hmm:

Thank you Slam :)

Thanks Vio, yeah I serrated it a bit at the front. I don't know why I gave him a sword it was kind of a random choice, just wanted to give him a weapon to be holding.

Spoiler

More random lineart I was working on, this is for a black manga character. I saw that there is an online anthology for Manga called Saturday AM. It would be cool to be published in there someday. They're big on diversity and all that. Excuse the shoes, I was originally using tone for the design but I accidentally deleted a layer after working on something for a while and couldn't recover it so just decided to leave it as lineart.

I'm definitely a fan of the dude with dreads! Hopefully you get published in that anthology one day!
I'm too shy to initiate... But I'm open to anyone else doing it. Just tell me if you need to say something :D

Racial diversity is definitely something the medium struggles with (especially the non racist caricature kind). It's gotten better in recent years, but every once in a while you're staring at a page going "who the hell let this get published?"

But I digres I really dig the design! Shame about the layers though.

Thanks Effie, still polishing up on my skills and then maybe next year hopefully I can try out for one of their submission contests. I don't know anybody else that's doing the digital anthology thing. It would be nice to get that level of structure with deadlines and such.

Thanks Coryn, the layer thing sucks but I can always redo it. I'm not a very good digital painter yet anyway so it was quite tacky.

Computer drawing is different, but once you get used to it it can become like second nature. Keep at it.

More random lineart. I ordered a better tablet finally so hopefully digital art will become less of a chore.

Is it just me or are her arms different lengths? And also a little short? I'm zeroing in specifically at the distance between the shoulder and the elbow.

But hey, props for showing both hands. Although she's got a bad case of square feet ;)

Keep going!

Thanks Effie!

Coryn, think the arm length is fine although it is from imagination so it might be off a bit. Specifically the bent arm.
I should draw the feet more actually...

Cheers!
