Facial: Emotion and Expression Exercise
« on: March 05, 2018, 01:35:52 PM »
A simply workshop exercise base on practising facial emotions and expressions. The way this will work is an artist will draw one of the three emotions/expressions left by the previous artist. When done, the artist will post their result on this workshop and select three emotions/expressions for the next artist to draw

Depending on how well this topic does, I might make a point system and leaderboard. Hopefully, this might help encourage those who are practicing to tackle new challenges and persist their way up the leaderboard. :hmm:

To start this topic, I have made an attempt to draw a smile. Normally I draw traditionally and then trace my work over digitally. But to improve my skill I simply just went straight to digital.

I would like the next artist to draw one of the following:
Sad
Joyful
Smug

This is what I get for neglecting my practice of drawing people~ :sadbye:

I have a bad habit of not drawing guide lines when drawing heads and such, and it really shows with my attempt with frustration.

I would like the next artist to draw:

Jealousy
Thinking
Sleepy

I was actually working on expressions anyway, and I didn't realize there was a thread for it. Hope you don't mind that the character is a hedgehog.

All that matters is just the facial features. So go nuts with any body-types or form.

@lego expressions that might not be expressions lol. As far as I know there's no rule on repeating, as there are a relatively limited set of expressions. I'll have a shot at those ones :P
