I posted an ad online about joining a band, got some replies. Mostly boring people. I refuse to jam with metal heads, stoners and people who like Pink Floyd. Though at this point in my life it seems I refuse to even want to jam with any people ever. I've sent a couple people my tunes and like reasonable humans they didn't reply afterward. But one guy was like "guitars are good, vocals not a fan" but then he was all "can we write music together?". My heart was-a-pumping but then I decided to not reply. Too many factors online. Of course the prospect makes me nervous as well. Someone says "want to jam" and I'm stressing, I think big picture like we're basically forming a band right now and starting on our first album. In everything in life I don't want to waste my time and bother with flakes. If we jam we're making our first song the first day we meet, and recording that thing right away. I'm just going to keep hoping for some kind of magical encounter in real life until it's time for something else.

It's weird to me that you won't jam with metalheads. They're actually quite passionate about music in my experience.

Edit: OMF I haven't been on fanfiction.net in so long my bio still said I was eighteen. And I completely forgot about that story from my favorite author that made me ship McGonnagal and Madam Hooch, of all things.

Welp, so last week I was threatened through my apartment door at 2 in the morning by two guys who seemed to have mistaken my apartment for someone else's. They said they would be back so needless to say I've been a little out of it since then. Even had moved my bed to barricade the front door during the nights and slept on the floor.

Well anyways, I put my bed back in my room now and I think I'm calm enough to get back to stuff.

Well I called my dad right after they left and he came with guns and took me back to my parent's house. Then in the morning we were able to get permission to see the security recordings and decided that it wasn't just some random drunk guy and then called the police. I had thought there was only one guy since only one talked, but the camera showed two guys in hoodies and gloves (in humid 80 degree Fahrenheit weather). One outside my door with the other one down the hall listening through my wall.

But the cop came, said he couldn't do anything since there was no crime, and left.

That sucks ass, but unfortunately, I'm not surprised :/ the law has a tendency not to act unless someone's, well, been physically hurt, which is BS. Look out for yourself. And try and keep your parents updated, even if nothing happens, because if they're anything like mine they'll be as on edge as you are for awhile.

Getting ready to go to a con and whoops I started smoking again due to a certain drama llama coming back to bite me on the ass.

I mentioned in my art gallery that two friends of mine pointed out last night that they feel that my art is getting worse instead of better and considering the other drama I'm going through I may be on the verge of a personal radioactive meltdown but it's fiiine. Just gonna go to the con, have some fun, come back, and work on things some more.

At least art and writing are good work to distract yourself from things that are out of your control.

Hmmm, I finally after a dry spell release a soft reboot of my series...But I haven't gotten feedback for it. Not just here, but a few other sites. My writing group are also busy at this time so...Yeah, playing the waiting game while writing my next material

Looks like I'll be working memorial day, and will be scheduled to work six days from here on after, at least until the busy summer season ends. Free time slowly getting thrown out the window.

After recording the podcast last night, this morning I found my old guitar in my closet. Figure I'll start hopping on the MR music train with Manimal, Devola, OGHM, and Lego.

Did my fingers ever pinch this much when I was first learning to draw?
