If anything, this has revived my interest in checking out National Geographic and The History Channel.

It's so weird. I finally realize I can watch my favourite science channels online on youtube and stuff. Still stuck in the TV age so I completely ignored this possibility till now.


I also have a sort of grudge about all of this. The developed countries get to cook the planet and then rush to save it while my oh-so beautiful land in the stone age just has to follow the trends without understanding why.

I curse my country, truly.

Well it's not like some of us aren't trying. In the US at least we're on the slow drive towards 100% renewable energies, and the hole in the ozone layer is starting to close, so we must be doing something right. (Of course that just means we need to double down as not to repeat past mistakes).

In the end, it's not all doom and gloom. Plus the more time passes, the younger generation will take charge, and without fail it's the old guys still arguing climate change isn't real.

We'll get there.

Looking forward to it. If anything I so badly want to see bona fide space mining to reassure me that resources are not really the problem. Oh gawd I need to see that happen in my life time.

Well the privatisation of space exploration helps with that. I mean we landed on one not too long ago. That's pretty cool.

Jokes aside, at least the majority of people are more aware of the problem than two decades ago. I just wish the UK would do more to encourage folks to go green, especially since the 5p tax on plastic bags did wonders

And let me tell you, that bag tax does surprise the *censored* out of American tourists. I stared at that Tesco checkout for a while trying to figure out what was going on.
