New writer and looking for an artist
« on: September 02, 2017, 08:24:00 PM »
Hi, I was looking over the internet, because I am an anime fan and I have written a novel (three volumes) and I am looking for ideas or suggestions, because I don't know how to make a manga out of them.

Any ideas or assistance on what to do or how to do it; it would be greatly appreciate it.

My novel is Bible related and science fiction story. My apologies if my topic is not correct. I am totally new here. I forgot to mention. I am looking for a paid collaboration.

I was told to post it in the welcome center. Thanks

Welcome to MR!

If you want to turn a novel into a manga, a big step will be translating it into a script format.

Welcome!  :sheep: :sheep:

With you looking at getting a collab I'd recommend posting some of your series ideas in the Develop My Story section. This will allow eager artists to see what you can produce as well as what kind of story you are going for. This is also a great way of getting feedback so you can improve.

There's a post somewhere in the Manga Writers Wanted section which lists available writers so you might get some luck there if you ask Lego, or whoever looks after that now, to mark you down on the list.

Good luck and have fun. Best way to achieve your goal on here is to enjoy yourself and make friends ^^

Manga script or just go straight to storyboard "manganame"

For reference, a 'name' is just a story board. This is the next step after a script. It's just that turning it into a script will be easier to start.

Very interesting, so basically, I don't have to turn the script into a Manga, I just need to start with Manganame. Thanks so much guys
