When you have issues making something look 3 dimensional  and then it looks too dimensional

well done, so you start you way by learning to draw face huh. usually the ideal is to draw couple fruits at the table first but well....doesn't matter


try to draw those face like maybe 40-50 times . relax you hand when you need to. eat something light so you can keep you head clear. and see if you drawing start to improve from there

Thanks for the Tips! I'll definitely try that. That last one though is creepy.. I don't know if i want to draw that 40-50 times. lol

well, it's time to get this thing back in order. I really need to learn how to draw manga so the best thing to do would be to practice. I just did a drawing that took like 15 minutes so it's nothing great, but I want to get something posted again so here it is.. This drawing will be the professor in the first dream sequence in the story Underworlders! It'll be my project for a bit.

I think you should keep the guidelines for your sketches early on so you can see specifically what to improve on or change.  Other than that, try to do small/medium/large aspects for hair and clothes.  I'll try to explain a bit more when i have time

Hey thank you much! I'm right now doing a Chibi tutorial by Mark Crilley. I'll add it here when I can, but Chibi's are pretty easy yet I still have a little work to do it from my imagination. I may learn Chibi's first so I dont get too discouraged as a starting point. And After that, Ill move on from there!

I feel like chibis are a nice tools to use for drafting characters, fashion, etc.. It's above stick figure level, but not too difficult for new learners to use.

Okay, I've done enough Chibi Tutorials. This is my last one of Chibi. Gonna work on a story board now for my actual manga. I dont plan on using chibi, but now I feel a bit more confident in my abilities as an artist... Let me know what you guys think!!
