Art requests/exchanges/collaborations! [unpaid]

I need to get out of this negative head space and really push myself to do more...

So in the spirit of trying to git gud, I will take requests to draw your characters (some restrictions apply)! I would like this to be helpful to the other person as well so I think it would be fun to work on small projects like a collaborative art piece or designing a character concept together.
That way we can all improve! in fact I would PREFER something like that, more often than not I find myself learning more when I observe and learn from others.

As for the restrictions:

- Because I am doing this unpaid and thus for free, it will be completely at my discretion whether or not I will finish a work. The same applies for you, I will never pester you to finish something.

- Please don't get mad at me if I don't draw it the way you expect it, but don't be afraid to criticize. I am more than happy to make changes but don't always expect me to.

- Remember that this is all for the sake of improving, so I welcome challenge! I tend to stay in my comfort zone too much anyway. That being said, any and all skill levels are welcome, we all have much we can learn from each other.

Now for a little about me. You can skip this if you don't care, it just details what I think I am good/bad at.

I like girls in armor. I tend to draw women more than men. I am severely crippled when it comes to body types, I usually only draw the typical anime bods and not much else (I want to get better at this). I love drawing expression and lately movement/interesting poses. I am comfortable with most genres but I draw in 2 distinct styles. A very anime influenced style for pinups/concept art and a more cartoony/simplistic style I tend to use for scenes with a lot of movement. I cannot resist any requests that involve drawing interesting clothing or armor, especially detailed ones on women. I can't draw animals. At least not well.

Lastly just a primer on how requests should be done:
It can be as detailed or as vague as you want it to be. The more details you give me the better the end result will be, but if you leave it intentionally vague that can be interesting as well since the results will be unpredictable. You are free to use any artwork I produce for you in anyway you see fit, please just credit it to me.

so what you are looking for really is an art trade, i am pretty interested but the issue is i have no characters that would really peek your interest, most of my charactes are guys, and since my stories take place in modern times, none of the cast really wears armour... unless you want to throw them in an RPG type universe for funsies XD

I am up for just about anything, especially if its drawing men and not in armor 

Those are the kind of things I need to work on. And I would love to draw your characters doing silly things, oddly enough I've been doing that with my characters and its sort of been a thing for me recently

XD yeah, I personally have trouble drawing the female body and want to practice on that more since I do have some main or supporting female characters

Hell yeah, the more the merrier. Shoot me a request whenever and let me know if you want to do something as well.

Let's see how well you can layer organic curves!  I'd like you to draw a character I had in mind: Her body is liquid metal, comprised of a solid vanadium but entirely fluid. (think Inque from Batman Beyond)  The pose is up to you, though I'd like to see a very asymmetrical, fling-y action pose making full use of a French curve and the character's chief offense; lightning!  Lightning everywhere!  All from her core (at the center of her head - think of it as like a visor, like the white spot on Inque's head, but it spins and whirs and pumps out lightning like a turbine.) of pure vanadinite called the Unstable Dynamo!

Here's hoping the character design is interesting enough for you to have fun with.  Feel free to play with all sorts of shapes she could be in - she tends to fly in to uncontrolled rages and can take all kinds of amalgamated forms, like weird, molten, lightning-laden crab-rhinos bowling through walls, or a squealing spider-octopi tearing a tower's supports down!

Wow, definitely a tall order but interesting! I'll give it a shot, this may take some time though... I don't have much if any experience drawing complex materials.

The important thing is to have fun with it!  If it starts feeling less like fun and more like work, by all means, set it aside for a while.  On the other hand, it'd be a great opportunity to work on your already pretty impressive drawing skills.

Ok, first attempt at an exchange! I art traded with Bobbyjoe for this one, I sketched his characters Oliver and Danny and he did my characters Essa and Islen! Overall, this went well for me, I had to redraw Danny's face several times because he looked too much like a woman on my first attempt but I've learned quite a bit!
