The color vibrancy and blending looks great! I'd just point out that a good thing to keep in mind at all times is the direction and type of light source. Where is it coming from and how does it interact with the other colors? On a deeper level, you could ask things like how the material would absorb or reflect (or refract) the light that's hitting it. All that is pretty advanced stuff, but it looks like you're starting to touch on it by natural observation, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it.
Haha signature go brr.

try not to hide so many of your hands behind their backs :P

nice soft style though. try and get the shoulders the same width from the neck and it will look better!
love the hair too :)

I noticed that a lot of raiders are doing some kind of speed drawing, "makeing  something awsome in 2 hours or less".

So why not give it an shot too. I also forced my self to draw the hands!!
I gave myself 2 hours to make this drawing.

And i gave myself one for this one.

Time for a piece varies a lot for artists lol, as well as quality per time, but that comes with experience (I hope XD). 2 hours is pretty much the longest I can do, normally its 10 mins :P

well done on forcing yourself to draw the hands! Getting yourself past a tough spot is a good skill to have. it looks like your eyes and hair are your best parts at the moment. the shine in the hair on the first one didn't go unnoticed!
while the hands/fingers do look a little wonky, they are actually close to being correct on the top one. probably the fingers are too long for the second one though, or the palm is too small. sometimes if i'm not sure how to draw the hands or something, i draw it separately first then redraw it in the right place once I know what I am doing :P

you'll hate me for this lol
Don't forget to draw the feet too!!!!

Pretty solid for some speed drawings. Does learning how to speed draw have any practical benefits in terms of improving one's art? I would love to know.

@fro I completely believe it does, in moderation. Its difficult to gauge what exactly makes you improve, but I think it has to be a mix of everything, short, mid and long pieces. when I draw INSANELY fast i often drop to "instinctive", whether copying or creating. this helps to identify what my main problems are. I believe in focused studies at the moment, drawing lots of hands or feet separately as opposed to longer full body studies, but that doesnt mean they dont have their place. As you gain experience you sort of learn whats your next step and whats best for you I think.

Understood. I figure it would be something similar to a writing sprint, in which one writes as much they can within a time limit. Sure it can be draining at times, but I think the importance of it all is to help increase productivity by forcing the artist or writer to let loose on the page without worrying about being perfect, which in turn, can encourage them to apply similar techniques in their more focused projects I guess.

A big part as well is to enjoy what you do. Practice is great and all but burn out is a real thing and everyone goes through it to some degree for a variety of reasons. I think trying to balance productive technical work with just drawing for the sake of drawing is something that can help a lot in that regard!

That being said, it's a good start Eukocar, I definitely see improvement over your work from a few months back. Keep up the good pace!
