I've never seen Focus being used on a manga page. Have you seen it done before? I know it's rampant in movies but i've never seen it on paper, except a photo

Pretty cool illustrations so far.

This is really good I think the story could be called Toushin daishu  its what pop in my head when you said you need a name for it. Not sure what the word I was looking for when I said daishu.

But anyways Toushin can translate to body proportions or sword blade.  But I think of the name of Toushin is like  bleach for the bleach anime it's kinda of a odd name. In a way.

The one shot you should try to think of it as a pitch for a battle series. Manga. And if its well received. Then you'll know if you should start the battle series. Also I recommend like publishing you one shot to medibang they say they will give you actual advice etc.

So just think if a battle series in mind and have this one shot capture the essence or the plot or something. Well look at manga series out there. Many series manga started out as a one shot.  And the one shot was somewhat different from the series.

They kept the characters in the one shot just change the story.
Like the one shot of bleach rukia was like a fairy or something she was small.  Check it out somewhere.

Really great work. You're a fan of Hamada Yoshikazu, yes? You use the same music in your videos and have a similar style  :D Can you send me a preset of the inking pen you use? You have it really similar to how Yoshikazu has it set, and I've wanted to try it out for the longest time.

the anatomy is really good especially on the masked guy in the last panel--great muscle detail!
