Now I though Sasuke is one of the most popular Anime characters. No one seems interested in drawing the guy ! Now that's strange !

OK, I'll bite :-)

I just wanted to show how you break a drawing like this down. (You can read my tutorial on balloon body building too).

First, just using the balloons, you want to create the pose

Then, you can start drawing over your balloon skeleton. Not precisely, just let your pencil move around... check one part against another, see that the proportions are close (you shouldn't be far off if your balloons are good). You simply draw lines, then erase the ones that are wrong... I know that's harder than it sounds, but just start with your balloon skeleton and try to see the image laid on top of it.

I didn't want to simply copy this drawing, I wanted to do it in my own style which is a bit more cartoony and loli, but you can see, just be working with my balloon skeleton, I got an acceptable drawing with about 5 minute's work.

Both of these are great drawings! This is a very hard pose to duplicate, and you both did it very well!

Dawood : I don't happen to see Dawoods drawings a lot but this is one of the best I think ! . Face looks great so does the body. Only think I can point out is feet are bit small. Great drawing !

Guys to be honest lol the source picture of Sasuke isssssss needless to say fan art level, so In my opinion, just mine I don't think that's something people should be drawing off of lol. It maybe be an official picture of sasuke but it's not a good one, and def/ not one I think anyone can learn from.

But I DO like everyones outcome for the drawing. Naturally as all our work they have issues but I don't have time to do critiques at the moment T_T but I will later XD. Still I like the outcomes. But the original picture we're suppose to draw from is bleh.

This is my first reply to 'Drawing workshop's'. Since this is my first time I'm not so sure if I done it properly. I draw Sasuke, but his not in his full body, just a face.

So...I have few questions...When participating in drawing workshops like this, when there is no image provided, but just a a name(Sasuke), I can draw how I want? And does it have to be my own/original drawing or can I just draw using an example.

So I draw Sasuke using an example casting Mangekyou sharingan and I also draw him with Rinnegan.

yeah, it was really old, I'm sure it was taken off photobucket or something. I don't think this is the same one, but Sasuke is in the same pose

Hi all,

I am really in lack of inspiration for any original drawings now so maybe I am going to hit as many workshops as possible...Here is what I drew from the reference pic
