I have, and fell back on non-anime stuff. Mostly outside backgrounds such as mountains and trees. Bob Ross helped that, but I didn't paint them, I shaded them. I did it a lot years ago thanks to a youtube station named TylersArtShack (Which I think died off years ago, unless he came back....)
But yeah, you could call it a burn out.

(Oh, he did come back, but it died off again....)

I have. Specifically, only drawing female characters.

What I would do would be to go outside and draw what you see. If you were in my shoes, it would be a tree and some stones.

This might be a good time to start writing a really short script. I remember you mentioning you can't because you keep revising but you never know. You might like what you write.

Ditto on going outside and drawing what you see. I would do that a lot, and its wonderful for any artist to do.

This happens to me a lot more than I'm comfortable with and I usually find myself either jumping to other projects to get things flowing again or I work on my core fundamentals to achieve the same thing.

So if I get tired of lineart I go paint a landscape for a while or I go work on 5-10 minute gestures to warm up before trying to sit down and focus on the lineart again. Trying to force it too hard often leads me to getting frustrated and upset which leads to poor use of time and bad quality

I know exactly what you mean about burnout. I've been drawing the same manga figures and poses all day long for weeks just for practice. But I break up the monotony by drawing some still life or animals or heading over to youtube and following random drawing tutorials. Lately I've been practicing western style superheros as a change of pace.

Thats a good idea! Also, have you done fan art? That can be fun sometimes, plus I used it to get somewhat better with faces and heads.
