Haha I wish it could be done. But can't put links into that automated process. There is a one downside in this method which I found few days back. This effects your PMs too. So you need to post it like name @ mail.com. with spaces between @ sign.

Isn't there a way to check if it's sent from PM or not? There should be something for the system to distinguish between that and a thread post

i would have thought there was a way to tell, but thats a rather unusual , funny but serious glitch. when everyone says to each other Pm me your email, there gonna be a bit of getting used to it :P

@hasith seriously? thats really annoying that you cant replace it with a link :S

It's much easier to copy+paste than to copy + edit.  It places an inconvenience...

Well you can get around by putting a space between @ sign in PMs. This is why i didn't activated censoring on domain names of emails. But this won't apply in forum boards. Posting email in anyway would result than deletion of that post.

Actually I don't try to mess with core script at all. Had few disasters in past it doesn't worth the risk. Heck our Hosting provider has been asking for forum down / full backup since last year so they can upgrade some stuff in server like OS. I'm just keep postponing it.  Probably I will have to do it soon though.

Data base alone is around 350MB and we haven't done a full forum down and restoration for over 6 years. I'm just too scared to do it. haha

It's server OS so nothing to worry about it specially since we have everything else updated and pretty solid security measurements placed. Plus don't add anything fancy into Forum core because I want the forum to load fast. So I keep things as simple as possible.
