Awesome!

Now I just need to buy a new drum stool to replace the one that broke today...

I just went through everything you have. I enjoyed it. So most of these are your original works?

I really like this one, it's like Raconteurs mixed with a bit of Latin and Blues!

Oh almost finished recording drums for "Jealous Jane" also! Just a couple more takes to get the fills right and I should be good to send you it back! (want to try to EQ the recording also so it doesn't sound like I'm playing through a computer...)

Okey Dokey, so I finally got around to finishing the recording for "Jealous Jane" - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_74uFnw2SxXSUM4VVM5RjFOYTQ

Hope you enjoy and feel it does your guitar riffing justice!

I must say that recording drums by myself is hard work... would be a lot easier if someone else could focus on the recording so that I could focus on playing... say, like, my brother who is doing a degree in music production... but he's super lazy so no help there.

Anyways, the EQ is slightly better than the last recording I did but I'm still not happy with some things... like the sharpness of the bass tones definitely needs improving. A lot of notes get lost in this as a result. It also sounds nowhere near as nice and clean as the guitar does...

I was also a bit rushed for time this afternoon so the end section feels a bit sloppy to me, which I would have spent a lot more time re-taking until I got it right but I just don't have the time to give it anymore for now... but hey it's just a bit of fun and it's all a learning experience!

Oh and by the way, screw that 3 note rest that makes the section come in a whole note after the start of the bar at 2:34!

Ha! I knew that part would be a bit of a curveball lol When I was recording it, I actually did that on complete accident, but kept it because it sounded nice. You did a splendid job, actually. Really amped up the ROCK on this track. So, I had to do the same thing

I added a solo at the end, when the song just kind of goes into a groove. I think that about completes the song  8)

Oh yeah, you can take a crack at that one too  :clapping: I'll be having someone sing on it too, she's got a pretty good voice.

It's a pretty straight-forward song, the only curveball I would say is remotely there is the shift into double-time during the solo. But it's not in an awkward place time-wise, so you should be able to count it in as it approaches.

I took another listen to it earlier and just knew I had to give it a go!

Lots of proggy elements and little intricacies that I think will be great fun to play to!

I haven't posted because I feel we are in some sort of silent competition, but evidently there is no such. Cool playing dude. Those grooving riffs and jazzy chords plus smooth melodic but fierce soloing. Three styles at different times. Your playing feels well planned and precise. I guess you're just recording it how you can so I won't fault the thinness though the track with NO1SY is for sure the best as it all comes together. I don't think it would be hurt to turn it up a bit though.
