Had a hell of a journey with this song. It took me forever to put it together, and I figured I'd remaster it since I actually know what I'm doing in terms of mixing now. Only, I realized that I somehow deleted the original. I spent weeks trying to find it, constantly cursing myself for deleting a song that took so long to build.

Then, digging through some of my cloud archives, I found a partially finish project file of the song. Plus, I still had the individual tracks saved on my computer from way back when I ported them from my phone. So, I took the original project and used the individual tracks to fill in whatever was missing. I retouched every single track and I'm very happy with the final result.

The intro was added after a very inspiration visit to my local and empty church. It's meant to be a kind of funeral march for this fictional "Laila"
