Alright! Took an outside link for the store to recognize my location was valid but I finally got in! Looks like there's a geodude pretty close, and a gym right next to my parking garage

Pokemon Go: "Remember to be alert at all times. Stay aware of your surroundings."

The fact that they've had to make advertisements to not play Pokemon Go while driving makes me lose faith in people tbh.

I mean, it's probably no worse than texting and driving.

Which is exactly why the fact that the ads with Pokemon Go had to be made disappoints me. Distracted driving is irresponsible driving no matter how you slice it.

Sure, I'm just saying there's precedent. It was to be expected

Anyone else having a good time playing. I am almost at level 17. My strongest pokemon are Flareon 929, Pidgeot 912, and Starmie 843.

I'm on the blue team by the way.

The gyms are freaking insane where i live. I can never hold on to a gym for more than 3 hours. Plus it freezes when i try to take over a gym.

I even drive around 2 am to look for pokemon. Yeah, i'm hardcore
Pokemon count:  70/73.

What about you guys?

P.S.
This has done horrors to me writing and drawing my manga out myself.

I'm still super salty that it isn't out in Canada yet. Been waiting and constantly checking every day since it was announced to have released in New Zealand. I feel like all the walking I've done since it was released has gone to waste.

It's super cool to just be able to get outside (despite oppressive heat) and play the game. Now if only it will play nice with my phone's gyroscope. I can't use AR mode and it won't go in to power saving mode

I just started like an hour ago and got lvl 4, do we just walk around and capture things or are we able to fight too?

I started on the 7th and just reached level 7 today, with my highest Pokemon being a 268 Gloom. I was leveling up really quickly when I was visiting Atlanta, but now that I'm back home it's slowed down. Fewer Pokemon, and the closest Pokestop is too far for me to walk to in this heat. :( I do have a ton of eggs though, so I'm gonna start taking jogs around the neighborhood in the mornings before the sun heats up, to hatch them. ::)

Once you reach level 5, you can join a team and start battling at Gyms!
