Man, the robot and robo-pet combo there really highlights your skill with bending shapes and giving the illusion of depth. Your linework is on such another level, bro. :ohmy:

@suupertramp Thank you for the redline. since I read Asimov and other old Sci-fi novels I have been getting robots ideas.

Yea I didn't think about the nails. From what I saw blouses have the opening on the side. So I'm not purposely making it skimpy. I think I wanted to show snake scales there. Form what little backstory she has. She works in a library/witch shop, there is hardly anyone there so she gets casual

@Walter B Yea its a robo-pet

@MahluaandMilk Thank you! I have been drawing robots and mechs lately. robots and Hard surfaces are tricky to draw

Haha, I love the different lineworks on the dude with the guitar. Reminds me of the guys up at my uni, since this area seems to attract a lot of hippies. The choice of eye shape adds to the hilarity.

 I'll play with the design and see where it goes. A hippie adventure.

fair enough on the blouse. well even in real life people have long nails which makes it inconvenient to do stuff, so it's not out of place :P
and great line arts. love the guitar case and the belts/swords/accessories on both of them.

Man I love that sword, and those are really cool outfits Keanefox. I really like how solid your stuff looks without much shading even. Amazing.

I wanted to try suupertramp plaid pattern tutorial

There is a version with all plaid
http://forums.mangaraiders.com/index.php/topic,19327.msg297215.html#new

@suupertramp Thank you! the drawing you made for me gave me the push to work on them.

@legomaestro Line weight and part ambient Occlusion. Thinking about the light source from the start of the drawing.

I'm also digging the fashion on this guy. He looks like some kind of performer.

I second that it's nice to see the forum utilizing tutorials from other parts of the forum. It feels neat and all fancy family community like. I do wonder what full plaid would look like on this shirt, though.

I see you haven't been sleeping the past few months, good to see your improvements! I really like the guy with the guitar because he reminds me of my dad XD And the cat ...snake...womans clothes are neatly coloured, me likes! Is it a bigger project you are working on?
