So, I honestly fell in love with this whole concept and all of your drawings which got me excited to join in the fun! If you don't mind. :D I haven't drawn much in a while but this is what I got. I recently finish the last episode of Anohana and I decided to draw Menma!

Guh, I need to watch that to see what happens. Does not look like a happy story.

Well welcome aboard. I'm not sure how much it helps but it's fun to have something to draw daily.

This is whole copying business is proving to be trickier than I thought...here's something I whipped up really quickly, not very good.

Shirobako Specials 1 & 2

Spoiler

Great specials by the way, it's the shows they where working on in the anime, fully length first episodes of both. I would totally watch Exodus if it was real.

I'm finally hopping in on this! ;D

Starting off with a quick sketch of Hinazuki Kayo from ERASED. It's not as nice as I'd like, but I'm still trying to get back into my usual drawing groove... :sure:

Nice ones, Lego!

Here's Alisa from Haikyuu!! (the manga, she's not in the anime yet.). Though it was really rushed and I wasn't able to capture her full beauty. :sadbye:
Oh well, I'll try again someday. ::)

From Project K. I've got a lopsiding problem. Must be the hand posture? Ah well. I figured out I can sketch lightly and erase some of the lines I put down

I used to have a lopsiding problem, but then I discovered it was actually because of my paper position! I had it flat down on my desk, when I should have had it propped up on something to see it all in the proper perspective. If you just lay your paper flat, try propping it up at an angle instead.

i have a similar problem, but its because i start turning my head sideways as i get more comfortable. you may notice in a lot of my drawings they are almost perfectly rotated 10 or 15 degrees every time. i have to pay serious attention to my guidelines to make sure not only they are straight (parallel/perpendicular) but also that i follow them properly.

yes paper position/angle can also affect this. some people draw with their head on the side looking at their paper from the side as well, which can skew a drawing as well. if possible try drawing with a drawing board or something that makes the paper more upright so you dont lean over your work.

Ah that makes sense. I hope I can find that board thingie haha. I keep on running into writing materials more than that sort of stationary, but I'll be sure to find them if I give them a better look.

Guidelines that stay straight huh? I'll try to use my ruler more... Er after this one. I think.

By the way the characters' pose was already tilted so yeah haha.

From Project K again

Good work, suuper. You're starting to show more refined and precise mark-making which is one of the major components of drawings in the manga style.
