Fair trade, not free trade.

It refers to the inherent disadvantage in the trade between first world industrial countries that sell technology and thirld word countries that sell commodities.

You know how much a colombian coffee picker makes per day? About ten dollars. And he picks on average about 70 kilos coffee.

10 dollars is the price of two Chocolate Mocha in Starbucks. Think of that. You have a couple of drinks in Starbucks, and you have already spent what one farmer in a thirld world country earns in an entire day.
