nice one
although i was expecting a teddy bear :P
i like the asymmetrical armor.
i think overall the picture would be better if you used less sketchy lines, and longer more confident strokes, but the style is very consistent so is not bad. good use of hatching shading, it keeps in style with the rest of the drawing :p
i think its your best drawing so far that i have seen for a while, well done :P

Haha that was a mistake actually :p I made the shooulders and frame and only realized one shoulder was way bigger than the other one when I was inking the plates.

Thanks man. Nice catch, I had not realized that. You have a really good eye  ;)

where his eyeballs?

I made them and it ended up looking weird, like one eye was looking at one direction and the other one somewhere else, so I just blacked out the eyes. That happens to me a lot with eyes, I hate drawing them. The eyes themselves are easy to draw but you have to make both the same size and is not so easy.

i have found it hard recently to draw eyes the same size and shape. make sure to keep practicing and you will get better :P
most likely the problem is the same with me, its harder to draw a curve from (right to left or whatever) than it is in the opposite direction, because your hand gets in the way and you have to use different muscles. so basically practice makes perfect :P

That's what guidelines are for man! Do you use them? It's literally the most helpful thing you can do. Yes doing eyes the same is hard but it's even harder if you don't use proper guidelines. Everyone has a different method for this but it's something to work on to give your drawings lots of shape you know. If something is hard to draw you just gotta keep trying, covering up and finding easy ways out will only hurt you later on. I am still guilty of hiding hands sometimes so I feel hypocritical but...still!

Your drawings aren't bad but they are flat, this is something you will get better at the more you draw. How long have you been drawing? Sorry if it's been asked.

You are right man and totally spot on about those damn hands  ;D

What are some good ways to make the draw less flat. Like shading?

Hard to tell how long I have been drawing I used to like it a lot as a kid and even had some lessons but then I just stopped. Recently this year I just picked it up a bit. Still don't draw very often.  The drawing in this gallery are basically my firsts in many years.

Hhhhm, well shading helps alot yes but you have to work on good construction. So again that's where guidelines and different angles, and all that good stuff comes in. I wish I could help ya but I'm an awful teacher. You can check out Nsio's tutorials they're pretty good and have helped me in a couple of ways.
http://nsio.deviantart.com/gallery/45894768/Tutorials

Again I wish I had more to say but I...don't. As for the last part, I figured it was something like that. In this case you're just really starting out so try to avoid all the bad habits and short cuts while you can!

I don't know B like 12+ years.

Made a Grave vs Xiana page for the tournament:

Grave vs Xiana

Anyone knows of a way to make color brushes work like tones in that they don't cover your lines?? I use mangastudio.

This is a very special one. These are characters for a comic I drew when I was a kid. I was very young I don't remember how old I was but I think these were the first characters I ever made. I decided to redraw them and color them (my first attempt at coloring digitally):

The hamburger could launch an onion ring. The banana could slip quickly. The meat was super strong. The carrot could become giant. The chocolate had a chain of some kind and the watermelon had a laser gun.

I remember I made several comics involving these characters. if I ever find the originals I will post them here :-)

Hello Walter :). Mangastudio has a layer system. If you do your color layers under your 'line/drawing' layers the color layer won't ruin your line layer. You can see it done in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFpLbDYNZog

I included Tristan in a OC Tournament in Deviantart. The objective is to make it to the top of the mountain fighting other characters along the way.

This is his reference sheet:

And this is the first comic:
