Ours is pretty all right. It's the kind that when you pull up at night, the waitress or the cook is probably outside having a smoke, so it does take a little more after the truck stop, and it's generally pretty greasy, but all around we have a great crew. The other day, our manager got a call from corporate saying that someone called to report that ours was one of the best Waffle Houses they'd ever been to, with a nice atmosphere.

My year was pretty alright. Actually pretty good. Feels like I was able to overcome several personal problems such as depression, anxiety, being pretty sure I'm about to die from several horrible diseases and so on. I can't even really describe how good it really feels. One's mind is a powerful thing.

I'm still not sure if I'm dying - I mean, we all will eventually, so why not live in the moment and embrace it, right? What's the point of anything if you're just worried about how it'll all end?

Sorry for being a little whiny she-dog. My point is my year was pretty good - and looks like my next year will be even better. My goal is to find love this year!

Those are tough problems. I'm still managing panic attacks dealing with some things that have only come to light in the past few months. I actually have myself a therapist consulting appointment for early January. Talking about them isn't really whining, at least not here. There's nothing wrong with not being okay, and there's nothing wrong with feeling good about things even if you're not sure you feel okay.

I kinda like that thought process of embracing life. Then again, that might just be my Pagan values coming to the surface. Life is something that continually grows, so you have to grow with it. My goal is to follow that cycle and continue to grow from where I am, just as I have grown in years past.

I'm sorry I don't want to interrupt this real talk that I can't add to so let me casually slip in, I just have to say this.

I just witnessed the last celebrity death of 2016.

Mariah Carey's career on Rockin' Eve.

That was actually the most embarrassing thing I've seen on live TV.

That was...a wonder. I just turned the TV on and it was like "whaaaaaaaat".

It wasnt her fault!
  • Her feedback monitors went down, so she couldnt hear anything.
  • They were playig the wrong song, one that wasnt planned during mic check.

Feel bad for her, that really wasnt her fault.

Oh so that's it, she kept saying something about the moniters. I did feel really bad as well, it was so painful to watch. She was holding in a meltdown the whole time, it was such a live TV moment.

Also yes, we need a new one of these threads! Goodbye Chat Chat 2016.

Hmm, panic attacks. Had a few of those this - I mean, last - year myself, too. Hopefully you'll be able to shake them off permanently very soon!

It's a good idea to make use of a therapist if you can. It's funny - in my country, it's incredibly hard to actually get a therapist's appointment. Apparently, everybody else needs a therapist too! Oh well...
