It was only the top right one where I tried to measure angles and stuff. I wonder if there is a way to show the cheek bones and the like with just a pen. It's proving hard to draw her likeness without being able to shade, but I'd like to also be able to break it down into simple shapes to be able to draw it from the angle that I'd like to.

I will let you know :P
although, i dont do much shading myself when using a pen, i just mark out the shade areas since if it was a proper drawing, i would be using other media.

Yeah, there is.



Draw lines that follow the cheekbone plane indentation like in this. In general, you should be thinking about planes, forms. A simple extra hatch of lines or a single set of hatch lines going at the right angle is often sufficient.

My study was only going to be a week, but two weeks sounds better. I'll be able to learn more then at least
