Yeah, definitely screwed up there. It was so frustrating though.

You've worked with lasers or something before right? So you've definitely made designs of some sort? Share thy knowledge

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who writes little self-deprecating comments I the margins of my sketchbooks! You can't insult my artwork if I do it first! Ha!

Alright, so I've been thinking we should try to learn how to draw the profile of a face in a certain style. Knowing how the profile is put together will inform you of the face structure in general, and you can learn from any choices the artist has made if you're learning off a stylized drawing.

So begin with finding an image of a face in profile that you really like. It can be a painting, drawing, photo; as long as it includes the face in profile.

So the deadline will be next sunday (not this sunday). The goal is to be able to draw that face in profile with the features and hair and neck as it was/drawn originally. The long-term goal is to benefit from having learned it in the future.

Count me in on this! But, should I post the picture on my gallery thread thing or here?
Aim high, otherwise what is the point in trying?

Interesting. I haven't copy catted in well over a year but I might try this.

I'll do one that's fairly realistic.
