hello hasith,
I don't have a specific specific request but I was hoping for more workshops aiming towards the shoujo genre.   :)
I like the simple girl workshops but maybe something more challenging.
Like one involved with people doing their own spin on a shoujo character or theme. examples are like parfait tic, vampire knight, etc.
But it's ok if not. since workshops should be a community involvement and if most members won't get involved then it wouldn't be useful to the forum community.

@ Diana : you know.. you can just start your own workshop topic.. that way you can make the rules yourself.. instead of waiting for Hasith ;)

Diana: yeah, that's what i thought too when i saw this thread.. but, then I've seen members just start their own threads here.. and yes, please do start a new workshop.. we haven't had a new workshop in awhile.. and it doesn't look like anyone wants to do the evil/fearsome workshop anymore :Embarrassed: lol

Rob we have already thought about a bad thing about this open workshop thing letting everyone to make workshops. Because if everyone simplelly start making workshop topics with images they want that goona lower the quality of this board and new members wouldn't bother about it anymore.

This is why we put request section so we can talk about a request and make a good quality workshop. Recently I have noticed This was forgotten So after the migration everyone won't able to make workshops. To keep the quality. First it will need to be requested and then take other members ideas and see if its worth.

But Sarah can make her workshop since its a good idea.

@ Hasith: yes, i totally understand where you are coming from.. and i agree.. i mean i wouldn't want to see this side of the forum be corrupted by new members spamming the board with useless workshop topics ;) .. i only suggested it to her b/c i felt her workshop idea was a good one 8)

oh and BTW.. her name is Diana (EBDP20) .. Sarah is (sadiesue)  lol

Yup new or old members it no use just making a workshop without a good reason.I agree with Diana's suggestion because we haven't done anything in that style. I was just saying whoever want a workshop first post it here.

These girls use crazy user names and I get all mix up with their real names too.  :laughing11:

id like see one on backgrounds, cant see one unless im being think, and most drawings have backgrounds.

Backgrounds can be a challenge in my opinion as the colour gets fainter as you get further away, plus u got to get the prospective(<<- is that spelt right?)  right.

What do you think about Comic Fight? I found one in my local web board and I think this is interesting. It could be a large workshop, but if it's successful, it will be a great attraction of this site.

summaries of the concept
Everyone have to make and register their character to join CF.  Once registered, they have to put the info and pictures of the character, including introduction comic, which have at least four or more pages telling about how their character join the fight.

Character will be matched by a judge.  The fight will be turn based.  And each turn have its deadline of 7 days to encourage people to draw.  Judging the winner is not based on the character in the story, but on drawing skills.

I had not been around for a week or two, because I was making a character introduction (16 pages long).  I just finished it and posted it on my local CF board.
I was going to post the link here, but while I am typing this, I could not connect to the site. -*-''  It's all Thai language anyway...

thats not a bad idea though...the character should be kinda of simple for everyone to draw and everyone take s turns like you said , but it'd be easier to have a simple character and villain instead of everyone submitting one >.<

just thought of a workshop, watch an anime then pause it at a random place, then print screen and then draw it, then post both the original and your drawing
