The profile picture of the Original Poster of the topic zooms in too much and decreases the quality of the profile picture alot.

Is there an option for users to choose between the new layout or the old one? I honestly prefer the old one. Much more simpler and straightfoward.

Probably not. I know how jarring new themes can be, but it's great to see a bright new theme for once.

Will totally be hard to get used to but it is interesting to have something new after a long time

Meh... never really liked the idea of pushing scroll-downs just for an action... just as much I hated the new Google layouts they keep putting up every 6-months.  (Ah, back when people actually can customize Youtube pages instead of the drabby mobile-friendly versions of today  )

I remember there was some sort of theme customization option somewhere in the profiles, but the only one available was Default. I'm more of the type to keep options rather than be spoonfed it.

You can change theme for now. But I can't say it will say like that for long. Old theme is no longer updated by developers so it can become a security problem. There should be an option in profile or account settings.

Yeah Lego looks like this theme needs bigger avatars.

No problems with that Hasith!  I'm just glad I get to keep what I'm used to

I like the old theme too. But we had it like 2 years and it's outdated. We paid like $80 or $150 for that theme. But developers are not patching that theme anymore.

This is the best error-less mobile friendly theme I have found so far.

That's the Internet Age. We move on and try new things or get left in the dust.

Is this the final new theme Hasith? Because then I've gotta look for high res avatars

There's this saying that goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Personally, I agree with that statement, though that's not to say I'm totally against change. Change is good! Change encourages improvement! But make sure you have the option to go back if things don't work out for you. That's my motto at least

Whoa, I felt like I stepped into the early 2000s for some reason when I signed in. All new themes take time to get used to, I used to always get mad at new YouTube themes but then eventually would settle and even like them more then the old one.

The only thing is I think the avatars and icons in the topic of the thread are a little big. The brightness will take time to get used to but I'm sure it'll be fine.
