I really like the fashion on display in that last one! Any specific inspiration?

Will review stories upon request. My latest arc: http://goo.gl/KYgsfF

WOW
so many good artworks!!
As always I prefer the cute ones but hard to pick a favourite!

Narrowed down favourites:
The paladin (?) girl holding a cross
The TMNT one, very good clothing shading and texture/volume on that one
The sword with reflection in FG with fighter in BG
The Pariahs volume 7
And the very last one with the laser ribbon hands. The flowing clothes is very good on that one, especially as you have a tendency to stick the clothes to the body shape (=skintight clothing) (possibly because of the requests themselves), but the realism of the clothing is much higher in that one.

I dont really go for non-human stuff but the second last mega god thing with 4 arms is pretty epic too. I assume it's intended but I really get a sense of scale from that one like it's the size of a skyscraper.

As always an epic art dump, I didn't expect any less, but you delivered above and beyond once again. Looking forward to new stuff and keep up the epic output!!

Seriously very inspiring to be honest, gotta get back on track with my own art ASAP now :P

Cool Art. It kinda reminds me of shoujo style drawings. Some characters do have that robust look to them but maintain pretty feminine qualities.

once again a fabulous art dump, some really great works here. and unlike my art, all finished pieces!!!!!

the last two artworks I think are great the samurai one and the upside-down one. While all your shading is very good the samurai one looks the best, at a glance it has a similar colour/shade balance (no idea what you call it) to a photo I think, very believable shading.
The hair on the upside-down one, also very good as well.

And fabulous manga pages!
Do you have a panel by panel script/descriptions or you're working with just raw script? either way a fantastic job with the poses and action etc.
I think there could have been a bit more variation in the closeups/long-shots and posing perhaps, but that might have been how it was commissioned. Also manga page composition is a hella difficult thing. Having a lot of panels per page can make it hard as well as each panel is the equivalent of a small illustration level work. so more panels often is more work.
Hoping to see more manga soon :D

thank you! been doing a lot of studying of random real life photos with how lights and shading work, and I'm glad I'm able to apply it on my output. still need a lot of practice, but thank you! I guess I'm on the right path. :)

and with the pages, I actually did the storyboard myself. I read the whole story of the owner and translated it into scenes. it could've been expanded a bit more, maybe a couple of pages, but with budget constraints we had to do our best to minimize the number of pages. thanks for the input! I'll be more mindful in the next time if I'm ever to do another big project like it. it was the first time I did a very long sequential scene and it was actually harder than I initially thought, but a very fun process nonetheless. XD

The scene was very funny. It paced clear enough to be understood. It is very shoujo indeedy. Clicking the link i do see more works . Progressive stuff indeedy.

ah yeah to be honest I did wonder if the pages were compressed for financial reasons XD
that being the case you did as good as possible, and especially working with a raw script that's a lot of figuring out what panels show what content, and constructing the flow of the comic all by yourself.

deciding on panel and page content varies massively depending on both the genre of the story and your own artistic style, as some artists focus on very small details/actions, which adds more realism but takes more time to tell a story, whereas others focus more on facial expressions/emotions etc. So there's a lot of layout variation for even the same story.
My personal advice although not fully tested, is that each panel should have impact in that it is the most of something compared to the other panels. So if a character is sad, you make them really sad, if they are jumping, you stretch their body so they are jumping with all their might. It makes emotions and actions pop more than just drawing things "normally", even if it's technically accurate.

I've been meaning to get more photo real life study done as well, but just fitting it in with all the other art is always difficult XD
