Good Job neko, I actually recognise some of the poses you drew from posemaniac  :D ... it's really efficient for quick practices

Those are great Neko, I want to rech that stage where I can see the 3d forms and just draw the whole figure like that, but maybe after a bit of time.

Yeah these sorts of things are easy to get into, but they can also go the opposite direction and be super tough haha. Sketch Survival is always so crazy...

Hopefully this'll count as a good start. Six poses. I'll try and get more in within the next few days.

Agreed on this being tough, but after doing it for almost a week, I'm glad we all started it.

Anyway, my second update is up; I tried messing with the printer's settings and the images still look too light, so I think next time I'll just take pictures.

Great sketches there too Pulp. Last one especially is pretty good. I saw two hammer girls, any chance you've read a webtoon called Trace?

Thanks man, you did great too, getting pretty good at portraying movement and they are very creative. And nope, first I hear of it, I just liked the idea of a small figure using a heavy weapon, so I did a second one. Checked the artwork and it’s delightfully eerie, is it worth the read?

Yeah, really nice PulpPunch...I love the last sketch
Thanks, though I kinda cheated on that one, since I went well over a minute ¬¬. Wish I could do digital sketches like you though… don’t know how you can make strokes like that with that dreadful, horrible thing they call tablet in under 30 seconds. Also, please, just Pulp.

Thanks, though I’m more of a fan of how dynamic and expressive yours are. And of course them digital sketches... byoutiful.

Also agreed, Austa, those are pretty awesome. They really come to life with the shading.

Congrats to everyone for a good job!

Well I think it helps if you are someone spending most of the time at work in front of the computer doing stuff with the mouse, I think I got a nice hand eye coordination built up over the years.

When I got my tablet, I just use the stylus as if I were drawing on the paper...I don't look at the tablet, my eyes are 95% on the computer at all time following the motion of the mouse controlled by the tablet stylus...though I already have a lot of scratches on my tablet now..lol

It's also frustrating when the computer do not synchronise with the motion of my hands  :push: ... guess that's one of the drawbacks of using a cheap tablet, fortunately it doesn't happen so often.

Unless you have the expensive tablets with a display on them really you're supposed to look at the screen mostly. It's weird to get used to but the learning curve is pretty nice. After a week it's easy to get comfortable with your tablet. Minus the bugs.

@ Pulp

It depends on whether you've read these sorts of Korean webtoons, but it's really one of my favourites. Warning (or promise) There's a loooot of chapters to go through. If only I had the opportunity to read so many chapters again like you. I'm on the latest of the third major arc and it's amazing. Wish I could draw like this artist as well.

Well, a tablet with display is nice, honestly I wanted to have one but it's too expensive  :push: ...other than that, now I find it quite nice that my hand is not blocking the view when I draw on a normal tablet...on a display tablet I'll have to put my hand on the screen as well

But anyways, drawing on the paper with traditional tools is still really fun and lovely.
