I've read some fanfics on Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Hayate No Gotoku but not much else. Those are two high ranking anime/manga on my list so that's probably why. Though I really do like fanfics, I've tried writing a couple myself, but they always end in an odd manner that doesn't help any.

I try to read science fiction, mystery, shoujo and some physiological type of fanfics. Because I love science and mystery. And do you know I'm reading UMINEKO NO NAKU KORO NI <when seagulls cry> and it is sci-fi, mystery, drama, physiological genre.

xD Apparently everything I didn't like about WoW is fixed, I'm contemplating playing again, after years of not playing. *Most interesting man voice* I don't always read fanfic, but when I do, I prefer the MR variety.  |

I read gundam wing fanfiction every day! What may seem surprising is that I only read English fanfiction and never French ones, although they can be really well written. Maybe it goes back to when I used fanfic to learn more English...
My favorite authors are Sunhawk, Skylark, Waterlily etc etc etc etc etc

I seem to bump into a lot of french fanfics lately. Makes me so sad! XD
Sometimes I'm surprised when I see really strange languages popping up for certain fandoms. I'm like, "They actually have that many translations for it? O.o" Sometimes I think anime and manga is only translated for english people.... But it's quite popular in other languages as well... (not that I'd know which languages because I only speak english...)
But I mostly just read yaoi fanfics. I'm having trouble finding some more actually..
Does anyone have any other good sites to go for yaoi fanfics (or just fanfics in general) other than fanfiction.net that actually has a lot of fanfiction?

I do read fanfics! Haha, I like action-ey yaoi ^_^ I generally read D. Gray Man, Full Metal Alchemist and Death Note fanfics and I read Laven and Yullen D. Gray Man pairings, RoyxEd and RusselxEd FMA pairings and, of course, LxLight pairings for Death Note. Sometimes when I'm feeling extra fan girly I'll read WolfYuu from Kyo Kara Maoh - but all of those fics are depressing and gushy and hardly ever have any action, so unless I'm in the mood to cry, I stay away from them no matter how sexy they may be T^T
