When Reporting Posts
« on: March 28, 2015, 12:31:02 PM »
Hey guys, been meaning to make a quick note about this, since it's been an issue in the past, so I figure I'll just make it more widely known.

If (when) you report a post, there is the option for you to say a few words on exactly why you're making the report. PLEASE UTILIZE THIS FUNCTION. A lot of reports come to us which frankly don't make a lot of sense, and a lot of times it's because members making the report and the staff member looking over it don't share the same ideology or have different levels of tolerance for things. Because of this some reports we get are automatically ignored because to us they don't make any sense. (Hell sometimes people report themselves).

So please guys, if you are making an actual report, please leave a few words in the comment box to let us know what your exact grievance is, and it'll make all our lives easier.

Damn... not trying hard enough hehehe

Jk Jk, well said before though, it's important that the people receiving the reports know what is being reported and why so that the right actions can be taken. Cheers Coryn :)

People report themselves?? Why in the world would they do that? XD
The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.

not always, sometimes it's just a normal run of the mill post. it's really quite baffling. and it's not like you can just accidentally report yourself, (easily anyhow), it takes you to entire 'nother page.
