i've finnaly read the first book of prince of tennis: it sounds interesting but it's...boring
i hope the second books will get more action because all I saw was just one or 2 jackass who wanted to play super heroes...borinnnnghgg

i read some of this manga, it was interesting, not enjoyable to me, but interesting.

i agree: i have discovered tennis technics...and more details about this sport but I won't begin to play tennis thanks to that book.

i think you're right
special effects should make those scene more attractive...they become boring on the manga.

Yup, I stop buying the manga after I bought the anime dvd, I just lose interest to continue reading the manga.

i like that kind of plot ok but it becomes tiring to have a perfect hero: beurk!

The ending of the series was actually really good though (putting aside how much the author stalls on each chapter). But have you noticed the author's drawing style? It's so....inhuman....and the anime version is better but they screw up a lot......

With all the faults it has, I keep on coming back.  :-\

I just went to crunchyroll and read the final chapter, good ending^^, but I'm more interested to watch the anime version, by the way, have anyone of you watch the live version?
No offense, I dislike the live version, it ruined my Fuji image ^_^

I'm always afraid to discover the anime version of my favorite manga: it can ruin your passion with bad design, stupid dialogs and bad quality.
