Robin's Other Art
« on: November 22, 2014, 06:26:45 PM »
This is the former map of my second comic, and I am not planning on finishing it. The country here is called Sevul and may seem familiar to those of you who've seen this. -> http://forums.mangaraiders.com/index.php/topic,11730.msg200086.html#msg200086

Life study I did on Oct - 2 - 2013.

That map is amazing!!!  :o :o :o It's like one of those you find in an RPG game!

I have a weird fascination with maps, I just love to look at them and see the areas named and where the rivers end up and, just, everything >.<

*Ahem*
Good job!

I also love the maps, but I believe on the honeysuckle that the shading values could use a little more extrema for realism.

Right now it looks like an outline and a solid color underneath but in greyscale. You can improve this for realism by adding shadows where things overlap and erasing ever so very slightly in the general direction of a light source for highlights.

I like it too. I wish that I had a better camera though, cuz it's even prettier.

It's Botswana agate. I nicknamed the stone "Moonlit Waters".
