Your character are really cute and your hands are gorgeous. (me too i take references i take pictures of my own hands often)
However my favourite is the stray leader you should leave him like that it would be the gag ahahah (im not really serious) though it could look like a one punch man

haha, colouring before being finished with line art is a new level of impatience XD Good stuff though, keep it up! I too shall draw more now that christmas and kiddo-b-day-duties are over.

^^; I tend to color before finishing if I'm actively designing the character. Otherwise I refrain since I already know how they'll look with color. Another thing I've taken to is coloring directly after the sketch without any line art until I've satisfied with how the colors lay nest to one another without the distraction of black lines.

This guy for example. Just started on the line art.

Effectively a redraw of:

Oh and here's a finished thing.

Oh I actually started doing that too with the last few pieces, just sketching and then roughing in the colour to get the mood, and proceeding with the line art later. In a full painting, it kinda also helps me arranging everything nicely. Still need practice on values though.

I love your canine cuties <3 wonder if I can even draw a dog lol

I like these a lot. I can't offer much more than compliments since I don't draw animals at this time. One improvement I am impressed by is the positioning of the eyes. In the one picture, the eyes seemed to face outward a bit, which is characteristic of herbivores.  In the other one, you made them face forward which is more characteristic of a carnivore.
I am learning to draw Manga, check out my art here!: https://forums.mangaraiders.com/index.php/topic,19370.0.html

^^ Thank you guys. Refs are your friends in any situation. If you have a good grasp of form it's not terribly hard to draw creatures.

thats amazing the depth that first image has despite being nothing but black silhouette and a face XD
I almost never colour unless I'm aiming at a finished piece.
I should really try more animals as well. so much to do, so little time (T_T)

I noticed that general art skill helps in learning new things. I almost only drew girls for nearly 10 years, but I'm fairly ok at drawing guys now (when I actually do draw them) with somewhat minimal effort compared.

nice. the eyes feel a lot more like say dog eyes than dragon eyes though. maybe the shape of the head seems a bit dog like.

Dragons have always been your strong point, but I don't think you have to be afraid of drawing people anymore. They look great, Robin. Glad to you see you keepin on the ball.
