I will.

Spoiler

I have prints that will go to my etsy store as well. Prices range from $20 to $60.

There you are! I'm glad you're still here and working away!
It's been ages. Good to see you're still involved in art. :]

Yep, I'm still here. College has been eating up most of my spare time, but since I'm an art major I'm making some improvement.

@Devola It's just basically me if I were a dragon. Need to update my avatar once I have the design finished up.

WIP Absol Figurine/Sculpture

Still have one leg to finish bulking out and then I can add claws and the leg spikes. Not bad for my first time making a clay figure on an armature if I do say so myself. I just hope it doesn't crack when I stick it in the oven.

anime figurines, I'm not ashamed to say. They (at least the ones I want) are so expensive I could never afford them without crying and feeling like I'm in debt :P
I'd probably start from chibi figures because they are smaller and probably easier.
they just never feel worth it, like regradless of the size they are always double or triple what I feel they are worth.
other than that, I like miniatures, so small anythings is up my street.
as for what material, I don't really know but I have some Sculpey III clay from my clay-mation days which I think is oven-bake, might try and use that up first. an air drying clay is probably my kinda thing but no idea @_@

I know the feeling on the figures, lol... Honestly though if you can let go of them, good quality handmade figures sell for quite a bit. Debating on selling the absol or giving it as a gift so I looked at prices. I could probably sell it for around $90 usd.

I read that Sculpey III is more brittle and prone to burning in thin areas so it may not be the best choice for spindly human limbs and such. And I don't think I could work with air dry clays as I work slowly (may be challenging). I'm using Super Sculpey medium blend. It is home oven-baked.

Np. Also don't forget to use armatures and to fill thick areas with tinfoil.

Damn Robin you can sculpt!? That's pretty cool haha! Damn I've always wanted to be able to make something solid with my two hands. How long did it take to make?  What clay do you use in particular?
