I decided that since I was going to redo most of the drawing I went ahead and resized it onto a bigger canvas. So don't mind the fuzziness of parts. I'll fix em eventually.

Spoiler

Still trying to figure out the small details of her design. And no, I don't know why there's a glowy orb, I just felt like drawing one.

Still a bit of a wip.... This is like the 50th redesign of Aria and then the first ref I've made for her brother, Keith.

Thanks.

Well in a previous version of their story, one of the human main characters started calling her "Misty" since she wouldn't tell him her name. So even then Misty wasn't intended to be her real name. She, like several of my characters, have had several names since their creation. (I tried to change Keith's name, but I kept typing
"Keith" so it's stuck. XD)

Welp. Decided I wanted a figurine of Keith and a plushy of Aria.

I'm considering working with Super Sculpey modeling clay. Does anyone have experience with it?

I've had an interest with linocuts before, but I've never been willing to invest time into it. How long did it take just to get the fox just right? :hmm:

I used my entire weekend to carve it (minus time for meals, two movies, sleep, etc.). But I was rushing since I have 4 linos due here in about 2 weeks and my wrist is feeling it (I have 2 finished being carved and ready to print, but 2 more to design and carve). I do recommend giving yourself more time to rest than I am, but it also depends on how big your piece is and how detailed you want it.

Also, this is very important, carve away from yourself. I gave my thumb a new hole yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me if it hit the bone.

Spoiler

A shot of my collection of in progress beaded bracelets and necklaces. Currently there's 63 bracelets and 8 necklaces. Once they're finished I'll list them for sale at my Etsy store.

I have other stuff to post, but I'm lazy.

Man, I know people who would eat those up for the right price, especially if any of those have actual gemstones. If you shoot me your Etsy link I'll share it with some new agey friends.

Actually all except for one of the necklaces, which I made for myself out of damaged glass beads, are either mostly or entirely made of stone beads (though there's a few with dyed stones).

As for the Etsy I'm still setting it up. It requires you to make finished listings before you can "open" your shop. The listings require the item's weight and shipping weight and other stuff. Just bought a food scale so I can measure the weight, but the shipping stuff still eludes me.

Simple patterned bracelets are probably going to be around $10-15 and the more complex ones would be around $20-25.

Reasonable. PM me the details when you have all that set up and I'll share it on Facebook and stuff. Signal boosting is power.

Alright, thank you. I'm not sure when I'll get the materials to finish them, but I'm hoping within a month or two.
